Jackson Hole, Wyoming is one of my favorite places! The tetons, the shops, the food, the whole atmosphere is so rustic. Everyone has seen the arches in Jackson Square, but there are so many more amazing spots in town. In the Fall it is the off season for the ski resorts so everything is pretty low key and not crowded. In the Spring there are a ton of hikes to do and lakes to jump in. And in the Winter it is a little crazy, because of all the skiers, but so much fun. Any time of year is a good time to visit Jackson.
People visit this place for a combination of three things: 1. Close contact with the unspoiled natural world. 2. Outdoor reaction- hunting, hiking, skiing, hang-gliding, whatever you're into. And 3. Relaxed small-town living. Whenever I visit Jackson I want to buy a cabin and live in this mountain town forever. Unfortunately, that would involve me being a millionaire... So as for now I will visit Jackson on the weekends and pretend that I could actually afford to settle down there.

There are lots of authentic shops to buy touristy merchandise and some pretty high end shops too. It is fun to come to Jackson and pretend you are rich for an afternoon. One of my favorite things about coming is enjoying the outside world that sometimes you forget about when you are in Rexburg.
If you visit Jackson in the winter, you need to attend a Jackson Moose Hockey Game. The whole town seems to come, enjoy and support their little team. I love hockey so it is great to come and enjoy a live game. Jackson never gets old for me. I have been to Jackson in all seasons and it is always enjoyable. Our friends said it best last weekend when we went, " If you have a chance to go up to Jackson, you take it."
